New feature: Private galleries

We have just added a new feature to our web site. We now provide private galleries to our clients for proofing purposes. The access page is available from the menu at the BOTTOM of each page by selecting the "Private galleries" item.
The private galleries will be accessed via a usercode that will be provided to the client which will unlock access to the private gallery. The private galleries will be hosted for a limited period (typically 6 months) as they can be quite big - often containing a 1000 photo's.
The pictures in the gallery are sized to 600x600 pixels. If you have a smaller screen , use the following method to ensure proper viewing:- Change your browser to full screen
- Remove the toolbars
- Scroll down until you see the large picture
- Now you can navigate by clicking on the left or right of the picture (there will be arrows showing when you hover your mouse). You can also use the mouse wheel to scroll through the images.
Blogging in Joomla

We have decided to port our blog from Google's Blogger to part and parcel of our website. This has a number of advantages which includes:
- Flexibility - I can change the look, feel and function myself
- Integrated with our website, i.e. one place for client to visit and one place for us to work on
- Integrated tracking and search capabilities, which means we can serve our clients better
Joomla is the perfect CMS (Content Management System) for this, and I think we managed fairly well with the blog as it stands at present. However, we will continually evolve and improve the blog to ensure you feel welcome!
