SA Weddings will be hosting their 10th Annual Bride of the Year Competition at Molenvliet Stellenbosch on 20 April 2011; brides will be flown in from across the country* for a chance to claim the prestigious title. This is the first National Bridal Competition in South Africa and is also the first competition to make use of online and SMS poles, as well as a live event to find the leading bride.

Over the last nine years, in excess of R1-million worth of prizes has been given away. The 12 finalists will have to impress a panel of celebrity judges which includes the likes of Presenter and Survivor Winner, Vanessa Marawa as well as Lead Singer of Blues Band ‘Delta Blue’, Gerald James Clark, while answering some questions from Comedian MC, Mark Palmer.

The theme of this year’s live event is “Street Festival” and it promises to provide the guests with a fantastic show. Entertainment through live-acts will be showcased on the night and it promises to keep the guests dancing late into the evening. Pre-drinks and an after party will also be hosted at Molenvliet with Canapés being served throughout the night.

* Please note that regrettably we will only be covering the costs of Domestic flights.
